I am in!!!

Megan, call me crazy, but I am so in. I found a friend to motivate me to swim and we are taking our first lessons this weekend. Yes, I do not know how to swim laps. I will keep you updated and let you know if I have any near drowning experiences. My friend is a lifeguard and promised to rescue me if I panic in the deep end.

Mountain Bike Sprint: 1/4 mile swim, 9.7 mile bike, 2 mile run A great event for novice and beginner triathletes, this is the place to get started in the sport of triathlon! Age groups begin at 8 and under and continue to 70+.

Olympic Distance Triathlon: 1.5 K swim, 40 K bike, 10 K run This world-class course is a great race for both beginners and accomplished competitors. It includes amateur age group and a relay team event.

Long Course Triathlon: 1.2 mile swim, 56 mile bike, 13.1 mile run The Long Course is one of the premier triathlons nationally and internationally. It is one of the most challenging courses anywhere ad will test the skills of the professional, elite, age group triathlon as well as the first time long course competitor.
